Dr. Andrea Feldpausch-Parker is a postdoctoral research associate at Texas A&M University working with the Southwestern United States Carbon Sequestration Training Center where she assists in the production of carbon capture and storage teaching modules for Jr. high, high school, and college level science courses. She also develops and manages web-based resources and materials for the center. Dr. Feldpausch-Parker also co-coordinates outreach and education efforts for the Southwest Regional Partnership on Carbon Sequestration, which includes the development of an interactive website, brochures, informational CDs, short educational videos, and supplemental curriculum materials for teachers.
Dr. Feldpausch-Parker completed her Ph.D. at Texas A&M University in August of 2010 where she studied science communication, with a focus on technologies for climate change mitigation. Dr. Feldpausch-Parker has a B.S. in Environmental Biology/Zoology and a B.S. in Fisheries and Wildlife from Michigan State University and an M.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries Science from Texas A&M University.
