Dr. Arthur Cheng is the Vice President of Research at Rock Solid Images where he is involved in developing new technologies and applications in seismic inversion and rock properties modeling. Since 2000, Dr. Cheng has also been a Founder and Director in Cambridge GeoSciences, consultants in borehole geophysics and petrophysics. He currently serves as Vice President of the Society of Exploration Geophysicist (SEG), Associate Editor for Geophysics in Borehole Geophysics and Rock Properties and Advisory Committee member for the SEG Beijing office. Dr. Cheng has published over 90 technical papers and co-authored three patents and two books on borehole acoustics. His research interest and expertise are in rock physics, acoustic logging, borehole seismics, and seismic inversion.
